environmental artist - ZOE SIZEMORE
Zoe Sizemore is a Tauranga based artist. Residing in the Bay of Plenty since 2006 raising two kids and getting outdoors. Her most recent exhibition 'Flock or Folly' in October 2021 was based around the ethics of de-extinction science and the plight of our native birds.
The direction of the work is an environmental focus, the birds are often a metaphor for social issues. In the latest series, 'Taking Sides' she is working on a range of smaller pieces that explore harmony in diversity.

Artist Zoe Sizemore
After completing her degree in Fine Arts at Auckland Universities Elam School of Fine art in 2005 Zoe went on to work in the design industry for many years in a wide variety of disciples. Through her love of illustration in design she has moved back to Artistic practise, completing her first solo show in 2021 at Tauranga's The Art Lounge Gallery.
