'Flock or Folly' Opening Night - The Art Lounge Tauranga

Many thanks to those of you who were able to make it on Friday the 8th of October for the opening night of the 'Flock or Folly' exhibition. It was such a relief in these uncertain times to be able to go ahead and with a turnout of around 60 people it was really neat to be able to share what I have been working towards putting together for just over two years now.

We were fortunate to have Paul Cumings from the Western Bay Wildlife Trust speak at the event about his work with sea birds and penguins and also the origins of the trust which was established after the Rena disaster 10 years ago now this week.

I loved sharing the inspiration behind the show and pointing out the challenges and stories behind each work - which I will be sad so see leave for their new homes, but very glad to have made so many sales on the night.

Thanks to Mira from the Art Lounge for hosting my show, it was a wonderful night I will remember forever and can't wait to get back in the studio to make some more pieces in most likely a new series of work. Watch this space.

Cheers

Zoe
